You can clear your Texas record. Texas law lets you seal certain arrest records and convictions through an Order of Nondisclosure under Tex. Gov't Code § 411.071, and lets you destroy certain records through an Expunction under Tex. Code Crim. Proc. Ch. 55. The nondisclosure process uses a petition filed with the court that handled the case and may involve a court hearing.
